As a person who is always in front, is a computer at work, I would certainly be beneficial to the gym or any kind of movement. To be honest, I do not know, really know how to swim AOT. The last time I was in the pool was a few years during the study, where I and my friends went swimming in the morning. I had a great time there, soaking in water is certainly the feeling I am calm. Before starting my swimming lessons, I am compiling some great advantages to remember that swimming, AOS just so much fun to participate in the perception. The water resistance is greater than the resistance in the air, the muscles must work harder to improve, as is body toning and conditioning. Imagine wearing sleeveless blouses and short skirts with toned arms and legs have a smile on my face!

The benefits of swimming are endless. It’s really good for heart as it increases endurance and strength, oxygenates blood, and boost cardiovascular health. Our cardiovascular health will reap the benefits the most out of swimming. As we become fitter and are able to swim for longer time, the resting heart rate and respiratory rate will be reduced, making blood flow to heart and lungs more efficient. Studies also show that swimming can help reduce high blood pressure as it reduces adrenaline circulating in the body and relaxes blood vessels. in turn our pulse rate is lowered and so is our blood pressure.

Almost everybody can take up swimming. If you visit the swimming pool, you will see old and young, little kits and even pregnant mums are swimming. It is known as one of the low-risk sport. Swimming is a low impact sport due to buoyancy; we weigh 1/10th less in the water. This makes the sport a universal form of cardio that’s kind to our joints, bones or connective tissue. Compare to other activities like jogging or running, there is no ground impact when we swim, so our joints are protected from strain from pounding the pavement.

Besides these, swimmers also pick up skills like time management, sportsmanship, goal setting, self-discipline, not to mention improved coordination and increase in self-esteem. Expect increase in energy levels which helps us perform better in daily work. The discipline and routine imparts a sense of accomplishment and therefore boost self-esteem.
